Student Directed IEPs

Research has shown that including students in developing their IEPs promotes improved academic achievement, awareness, communication skills, and self-advocacy. This workshop focuses on going beyond the traditional transition plan involvement of students in the IEP process. Participants will leave with tips and strategies of how to promote the involvement of any age student in the IEP meeting.

Half day session: 9am - 11:30am / local time

Target Audience: Teachers of Record (TOR), Speech Language Pathologists, Special Education Teachers, School Administrators, District Administrators
