The Indiana IEP Resource Center invited Dr. Terrance Scott to present at their annual Fall Conference. In Teaching Behavior: Strategies for Escalating Behaviors, Dr. Scott addresses students who don't respond to redirection, gives visual examples of students having a variety of behaviors and in different phases of escalation, and how to better address escalating behaviors.

Beginning with Part 1 of Teaching Behavior: Managing Classrooms Through Effective Instruction, Dr. Scott discusses his background in psychology and education and the beliefs and philosophy of managing classrooms through effective instruction. Dr. Scott continues with a summary of John Hattie’s work, what science tells us about learning, and PBIS.
